Death is Nothing at All

Yesterday was an emotional one for me, a time of saying good-bye to a friend and usually not the type of thing I’d share here on the internet but this is my little tribute to a woman who showed so much courage and spirit all her life, a life I only glimpsed a tiny fragment of but am honoured to have shared. She had assigned me a task to pass this reading to her family when she took leave of this physical world and I know she’d want me to share it with you too, in the hope it reaches someone who may benefit from its soothing words. Life is precious, embrace it with your heart wide open and as the final reading reminded us yesterday, slow down and enjoy the dance. Bright Blessings from my heart to yours, Rashelle xox

Death is Nothing at All
Henry Scott Holland

Death is nothing at all,
I have only slipped away
into the next room.

I am I,
and you are you;
whatever we were to each other,
that, we still are.

Call me by my old familiar name,
speak to me in the easy way
which you always used,
put no difference in your tone,
wear no forced air
of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we shared together.
Let my name ever be
the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect,
without the trace of a shadow on it.

Life means all
that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was.
There is unbroken continuity.

Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?

I am waiting for you,
for an interval,
somewhere very near,
just around the corner.

All is well.

Looking Beyond…

Fantasy Fairies073

Sometimes we look beyond,

And dream of what should be,

Forgetting that where we focus,

Is only what we see.

As we pine for nature in the concrete mess,

Our hearts get weary, our bodies stressed,

A simple shift is all it takes

To soften all heart-aches,

I am here before your eyes,

As the rain falls slowly from the skies,

And the tears run down your face,

I pray your heart feels my grace,

Your pain, it is clear to see,

Is that you’ve separated you from me,

As the drops trickle down the pane,

Do you see the miracle of rain?

The cars, the buildings and all that is,

Is a symbol of eternal bliss.

Though man-made they’re still divine,

As you and me are eternally entwined.

No matter how it looks, sweet friend,

I am here, there will be no end.

Together we arise, as once we fell,

Now its time for creating heaven not hell,

I mean for the many not for the few,

Cos just like me, they are part of you.

Forgiveness is the key you’ll find,

To all the treasures deep inside.

With weeping hearts we all have seen,

What happens when men turn mean,

Now, it is time to celebrate,

As we journey to our divine fate.

Heaven on Earth for all to see,

Let’s do it together, you and me.

Someone Threw Down Their Weapon Today – A Poem by Kelly Flack

“The pioneers of a warless world are the youth that refuse military service.”
Albert Einstein

Someone threw down their weapon today.
They said “no more”, and walked away.
A tear was shed and a smile was had
as the person said quietly, “no more bad”
This happened eight thousand miles away
As I sat in my home on this warm Summers day
And I sent out an energy, born of pure love
From Australia to Israel, through heavens above.
Someone threw down their weapon today
As vibrational energies flowed their way
And they opened their eyes and they felt with their heart
And decided today, they would make a new start
And this person, though eight thousand miles away,
Touched another with beautiful words he did say:
“A thought I just had said theres no need to fight
I’ve been told I must shoot and it doesn’t feel right
So I’m walking away from this blood and this fear
And I hope you will join me right now, right here”

And he held out his hand for the person to take

They gazed at each other as around them did shake
And the second man saw in his good friends eyes
That the killings bred only more hate and more lies
So another gun fell as the two men held hands
And they smiled and nodded, their actions felt grand
Then ANOTHER man saw them, the message was shared
From one man to another, all life must be spared
Regardless of where you might live on this Earth
A vibration of Love helps us realise our worth
We are brothers and sisters that may be worlds apart
May we step into Love and ALL live from the Heart
Do what “feels” good, live a passionate life
Put your focus on joy, not on worry or strife
From the hearts in the Earth, from my Soul and above
From Australia, I send you, Dear Reader – Much Love
